MONACO FUNDED
Frequently asked questions
Every answer here is a plain-language summary. The linked documents govern.
The basics
Monaco Funded is a skill-based simulated trading evaluation. You pay an entry fee, trade a simulated account against real US market prices, and if you satisfy the published rules you can qualify for real payouts in the currency shown in your wallet. There are three evaluation durations, Day, Speed, and Afterhours; they differ in how long you are measured for, not in what they are.
No. All trading on the platform is simulated: no securities are bought or sold, no brokerage account exists, and we hold no securities on your behalf. Your results reflect performance against real market data on our platform, not participation in any market. Monaco Funded is not a broker-dealer and not an investment adviser, and nothing on the platform is investment advice. Payouts are real money.
You must be at least eighteen years old and able to enter a binding contract. The service is offered only in the countries we support, shown in the app before you pay. We check the country you are connecting from on every paid entry, and refuse the entry when we cannot resolve it or it resolves outside a supported country.
Trust
Monaco Funded is operated by Monaco Western Limited, trading as Monaco Funded, a company registered in Trinidad and Tobago. You can reach us at . The same operator is named at the top of every policy document we publish, and the About page says it in full.

No, and this is not trading in the regulated sense. We are not a broker, not a dealer, and not an investment adviser, and nothing on the platform is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. All trading here is simulated: no securities are bought or sold, no brokerage account exists, and your orders never reach a market. Prices come from real market data, so your results respond to real market movement, but a simulated result is not a real trading result.

It is not held for you. We hold no securities, and no money, for you. An entry fee is a payment for a service, not a deposit, and it is consumed when you use it. What your wallet shows is Credits, which are prepaid platform credit that pays platform fees and can never be withdrawn or redeemed for cash, and Earnings, which are amounts we credit you for a result you achieved and which can be withdrawn to a bank account in your own name.
Read what we publish before you pay anything. The operator is named in the Terms. The rules you will be measured against are published before you start and cannot be changed for an evaluation already running. A soft launch notice says plainly what is still changing and that the money is real. And if something goes wrong, the Complaints Procedure sets out what we do and how long each step takes. None of that is a promise about your result; it is what you can check for yourself.

Money
Your wallet holds two separate balances. Credits are money you have paid us, plus anything we grant you: prepaid platform credit that pays platform fees. Earnings are amounts we credit you for a result you achieved under the published rules: they can pay fees and can be withdrawn to a bank account in your own name. No amount ever moves from Credits to Earnings, and paying a fee from Credits does not turn that money into Earnings. The most you can ever withdraw is what you have earned.
No. Credits are never withdrawable to a bank account and never redeemable for cash. They are prepaid platform credit: they pay platform fees, and the only way value leaves your Credits balance other than by paying a fee is a refund to your original payment method under the Refund Policy.
Earnings can be withdrawn to a bank account in your own name. You request a withdrawal in the app, and a person at Monaco Funded reviews it and makes the payment; nothing is automated, and nothing reaches a bank without that human step. Every withdrawal is conditional on identity verification, anti-money-laundering screening, the destination account matching your verified identity, and a review of the account activity. We do not pay third parties, and we do not guarantee processing times. The amounts, the minimum, the fee and how many requests may be open at once are in the Limits document. How a withdrawal is reviewed, what each state means and when the payout batch runs are in the Withdrawals document.
You pay an evaluation fee, and you should expect to lose it: most people who take an evaluation do not pass. What you are never doing is trading your own capital in a market; the trading is simulated, and your orders never reach one. If you cannot comfortably afford to lose what you are about to pay, do not pay it.

Sometimes, and the window is narrow. An evaluation entry fee is refundable only until your first order on that account or twenty-four hours after activation, whichever comes first. Resets, lockout resumes, and Afterhours entries are delivered the moment you buy them and are non-refundable from that moment. Duplicate charges, payment errors, and services we did not deliver are always refunded. Approved refunds go to your original payment method.

The evaluations
Each evaluation is governed by a rule set published before you start: profit targets, drawdown and daily-loss limits, and time windows. You pass by reaching the profit target without crossing the loss limits. The exact parameters for your account are always visible in the app.
Governed by: Terms of Service, section four; the published rule set
It depends on the rule. The trading limits are enforced automatically: cross the daily-loss limit and your positions are closed and trading locks until the next day, while your account survives; cross the max drawdown and the account ends. Breaking the conduct rules is different: exploiting a platform defect, misrepresenting your location, or trading an account that is not your own can invalidate an evaluation, close your account, and forfeit balances.
Your account
Not to open an account. You can sign up, pay fees, and use the platform without ever giving us an identity document. We verify before your first withdrawal: government-issued photo identification, proof of address, and confirmation that the bank account you want paid is in your own name. If you cannot or will not verify, we cannot pay you; your Earnings balance stays where it is, but it cannot leave the platform.
The Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, and for how long we keep it. The short version: we process what we need to provide the service and what the law requires us to keep, we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

Email with the word Complaint in the subject line. We acknowledge within three business days and respond in full within fifteen, and if you are not satisfied a director reviews it personally. If your complaint is about money you paid us, please raise it with us before contacting your bank; we would almost always rather resolve it directly.
