AML and Identity Verification Notice - Monaco Funded

Last updated: 1 September 2026. Monaco Western Limited, trading as Monaco Funded, Trinidad and Tobago. Contact: . This notice forms part of the Terms of Service.

Why we verify you

Once real money leaves the platform, anti-money-laundering law applies to us. We are required to know who we are paying, to keep records of it, and to report certain matters to the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago. This notice explains what that means for you.

When we ask

We do not ask for identity documents to open an account. You can sign up, pay fees, and use the platform without ever giving us one.
We verify before your first withdrawal, and we may re-verify later if your circumstances or activity change, or if the law requires it.

What we ask for

-
Government-issued photo identification (passport, national ID, or driver's permit).
-
Proof of your address, dated within the last three months.
-
Confirmation of the bank account you want paid, in your own name.
-
Your date of birth and nationality.
We use a specialist verification provider, Didit, to check these. You complete the check on Didit's own verification page, and the Privacy Policy describes what Didit receives and what we keep.

The rules we cannot bend

-
We pay only to a bank account in the same name as the verified identity. Not a relative, not a business, not a friend, not a different person who "will pass it on".
-
We do not pay third parties, and we do not accept payment instructions from anyone other than you.
-
One person, one account. If verification shows the same person behind more than one account, that is a breach of the Terms.
-
If you cannot or will not verify, we cannot pay you. Your Earnings balance stays where it is; it does not expire for that reason alone, but it cannot leave the platform.

What we do with it

We use verification data only to verify you, to meet our legal obligations, and to prevent fraud. We keep it for 7 years after your account closes, because the law requires us to. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it. The Privacy Policy sets out the rest.

Reporting

We are required by law to report certain activity to the Financial Intelligence Unit, and in some circumstances we are prohibited from telling you that we have done so. If we ever have to do that, it is not a judgement about you personally; it is a legal obligation we cannot decline.
We may also delay, refuse, or reverse a withdrawal where we have concerns, or where a screening requires it.

What we ask of you

Give us accurate information. Using a false identity, someone else's documents, or someone else's bank account is fraud, it is a breach of the Terms, and it is a ground on which we may close your account and forfeit a balance.
If anything you have told us changes, tell us.
