What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (browser local storage, session storage) work the same way, and we refer to all of them as "cookies" here. Monaco Funded uses first-party storage only: nothing on the platform is set by, or shared with, an advertising or third-party analytics company.

The categories we use

Essential (always on). Required for the platform to work: keeping you signed in (your authentication session), remembering your cookie choice, your interface preferences (theme, sound, chart layout, last viewed symbol, selected account), and a small number of in-progress markers that stop a purchase or a round being charged twice if your connection drops. These cannot be switched off, because the site would not function safely without them. They do not track you.

Analytics (off until you allow them). A first-party session identifier plus usage events (which screens are visited, which features are used), processed on our own servers only. Events never contain your name, email, or trading amounts. No third-party analytics provider exists in the product. These activate ONLY if you accept them in the consent banner, and stop if you withdraw consent.

Marketing. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If that ever changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any such cookie.

Device identification (essential, always on). To enforce our offer terms, currently limiting a partner code to one account and one device, we store a small identifier on your device (in the app) or derive a signature from your browser (on the web). It is essential and cannot be switched off without preventing us from operating the service safely. It does not track you across other sites or apps.

The mobile app

The mobile app does not show a cookie banner. Your session is stored in the operating system's encrypted store, one-time flags (for example, that you have seen the welcome walkthrough) are stored on-device, and analytics is off on the app.

Your choice and how to change it

When you first visit on the web, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link. Declining analytics does not affect access to any part of the platform.

Retention

Your session storage lasts until you sign out. Your consent choice is remembered for 12 months, or until you change it, whichever comes first. The analytics session identifier, if accepted, is short-lived and rotates per session.

What we changed and when

We update this policy when the storage the platform uses changes. Version 3 (2026-08-09) adds the in-progress purchase markers to the essential category; nothing was added to analytics, and no third party has been introduced.
