What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (browser local storage, session storage) work the same way, and we refer to all of them as "cookies" here. Monaco Funded uses first-party storage, with two exceptions, both described below: the Meta Pixel on our website, and the one value Cloudflare Turnstile keeps for the person check. No third-party analytics company is involved.

The categories we use

Essential (always on). Required for the platform to work: keeping you signed in (your authentication session), remembering your cookie choice, your interface preferences (theme, sound, chart layout, last viewed symbol, selected account), and a small number of in-progress markers that stop a purchase or an entry being charged twice if your connection drops. These cannot be switched off, because the site would not function safely without them. They do not track you.

Analytics (off until you allow them). A first-party session identifier plus usage events (which screens are visited, which features are used), processed on our own servers only. Events never contain your name, email, or trading amounts. No third-party analytics provider exists in the product. These activate ONLY if you accept them in the consent banner, and stop if you withdraw consent.

Advertising (always on, our website only). The Meta Pixel stores two Meta identifiers in your browser (the second only when you arrive from a Meta ad) and sends Meta the pages of our website you visit, the creation of your account, and your top-ups and their amounts, so we can measure our advertising. When you are signed in, or have just created an account, it also sends a hashed form of your email address and your user ID, so Meta can match these events to a Meta account you hold. It runs for every visitor to our website, not in our apps, and never on our payment, password-reset or admin pages. You can block it with your browser's settings or an ad blocker. So that a new account or a top-up can be reported on the next page you open, our website also keeps a short record of it in your browser: for a new account, your user ID and, if you signed up with your email address, its hashed form; for a top-up, its reference, its amount and, if you are signed in, your user ID. Each record is deleted once it has been reported, and a small marker stays behind in that browser so the same event is not reported twice from it.

Device identification (essential, always on). To enforce our offer terms and prevent misuse, we store a small identifier on your device (in the app) or derive a signature from your browser (on the web). It is essential and cannot be switched off without preventing us from operating the service safely. It does not track you across other sites or apps.

The person check (essential, always on). Where you sign up, sign in, or reset or change your password, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person and not an automated program. It keeps one value of its own on your device, in Cloudflare's storage rather than ours, for that check, on our website and in our apps. It cannot be switched off, because those screens would be open to automated programs without it.

The mobile app

The mobile app does not show a cookie banner. Your session is stored in the operating system's encrypted store, one-time flags (for example, that you have seen the welcome walkthrough) are stored on-device, the person check keeps the one value described above, and analytics is off on the app.

Your choice and how to change it

When you first visit on the web, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link. Declining analytics does not affect access to any part of the platform.

Retention

Your session storage lasts until you sign out. Your consent choice is remembered until you change it. The analytics identifier, if accepted, is a random value kept on your device.

What we changed and when

We update this policy when the storage the platform uses changes. Version 8 (2026-10-11) added the value Cloudflare Turnstile keeps for the person check; version 7 (2026-10-07) says exactly what each record holds and that its marker stays in one browser; version 6 (2026-10-06) added what the Pixel sends when you are signed in or have just created an account, and the records our website keeps for it; version 5 (2026-10-06) added the Meta Pixel in the advertising category; version 4 (2026-08-26) added device identification to the essential category; version 3 (2026-08-09) added the in-progress purchase markers. No third party is involved in analytics.
